Mediation can save you time and money. This is an alternative to fighting in court--what is called Alternative Dispute Resolution. Susan is a retired Family Court Referee with five years experience judging divorce, custody and other matters. She is a neutral mediator with all trainings required to be on the Minnesota Supreme Court Rule 214 Roster. She has mediated for over 15 years on all types of cases, with an emphasis on employment law and family law matters. In addition, she is trained as a Early Neutral Evaluator, now trains others in ENE, serves as a Consensual Special Magistrate and Arbiter; has served as a Parenting Time Expeditor and Parenting Consultant, was a Sexual Harassment Investigator and does custody evaluations.
Family law problems that have been successfully mediated include divorce, paternity (where parents have never wed), custody, grandparent visitation, parenting time, moves out of state, child support, property divisions, marital property, alimony payments and anything else that arises in the family law area. It can also include problems over family disputes regarding guardians,over a will, probate or settlement of an estate.
